How might radiographic imaging be used to guide surgeons during orthopedic surgery?

OrthoGrid makes anatomy-specific radiopaque grids for orthopaedic joint reconstruction and trauma.

We saw an opportunity to make interactive feedback feel playful. To engage surgeons, technical assistants & other stakeholders I focused on the visual identity, layout, and micro-animations for different interactions.

To communicate the interactions and animations to the team developer, I used Sketch combined with Keynote and Principal to make videos. 

For visual continuity I created a library of icons and buttons to play with during the prototyping phase.
